Hello, World!
Maksim Ivanovich Makarov was born to Ivan and Becca on July 3rd, at 614pm, through cesarean section. He measured 19.5 inches and weighted 7 pounds. He already declared to us his allegiance to FC Spartak and BYU Cougars and dad is excited to have another fan join these great fanbases.
Everybody is doing well. Fireworks throughout the USA will follow tonight!

Congrats! Mad Maks is sure to take the world by storm. Don't worry about him being a Cougar fan- I am sure he will come to his senses soon, become enlightened, and wear lots of red. He is a good looking little squirt- yeah for mom's genes! Congrats again. The dream continues.....
Congratulations! I am so happy for you guys. Your new baby is adorable! He looks a lot like Becca so far. Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Russian baby born on Independence day - irony much? Congrats guys! Let us know if you need anything.

Not sure he'll ever wear red. If he does, he might have to always file his own taxes, and I think this kind of punishment affixed is a good enough reason to be a BYU fan.

Thanks. This is a tricky picture. I think those who saw him in person says he looks more like me. You'll have to come and visit and introduce Jack to a new friend. And luckily, Jack was born on the 3rd.
